About the Role
The Business Analyst – Project Controls will support a pipeline project for an energy-sector client, focusing on the delivery of IT solutions within an agile environment. This role is responsible for translating stakeholder needs into sprint-aligned deliverables and ensuring requirements are clearly documented and traceable throughout the project lifecycle.
Requirements
Act as the delivery Business Analyst, ensuring alignment between business requirements and technical constraints.
Facilitate workshops, working sessions, and walkthroughs with subject matter experts, IT teams, and vendors.
Identify and manage constraints, risks, and dependencies across systems and business processes.
Decompose high-level business requirements into epics, user stories, and acceptance criteria that can be prioritized and delivered iteratively.
Contribute to and adhere to business analysis governance standards as they continue to evolve.
Collaborate with third-party vendors to map business requirements to existing system capabilities.
Support Agile ceremonies, working closely with subject matter experts and technical delivery teams.
Assist organizational change management initiatives, including training, documentation, and communications.
About the Company
StaffCorp is partnering with an energy-sector client to recruit a Business Analyst – Project Controls for a 12-month contract. This hybrid role includes two onsite days per week in Edmonton, along with occasional travel within Alberta to support project activities.
